भूपेश बघेल वर्तमान में छत्तीसगढ़ के मुख्यमंत्री हैं। उनका जन्म 23 अगस्त, 1960 में हुआ था।
वह 2014 से 2019 तक छत्तीसगढ़ प्रदेश कांग्रेस के अध्यक्ष थे। वह 1999 से 2003 तक दिग्विजय सिंह सरकार में अविभाजित मध्य प्रदेश में परिवहन मंत्री रहे थे। वह छत्तीसगढ़ के पहले राजस्व, लोक स्वास्थ्य इंजीनियरिंग और राहत कार्य मंत्री थे।
